Bike Fitting Specialized BG F.I.T. System
After years of development Specialized have launched their BG F.I.T.This unique system has been developed by fit expert, Dr Andy Pruitt PA, of the Boulder Centre for Sports Medicine in the US.
With over 30 years experience in helping World Champions, Tour de France winners and cyclists of all levels riding any style of bike, Andy Pruitt has developed a fit System that enables the fitter to analyse an individual’s needs and adjust their bike based on their unique body characteristics, experience level and cycling goals to maximise comfort and performance – ultimately improving the experience of the riders.
Before qualifying as a BG FIT centre we participated in an intensive 2 day course at Specialized headquarters. The course was run by the BG FIT Lead Technician who explained the theory thoroughly and guided the hands on practice in meticulous detail. After the training our staff practiced for a couple of months before becoming an authorised BG FIT centre. Continued assessments, resources and contact ensure you receive the very best BG FIT bike fitting.

We are all very different in height, shapes, sizes, have varying degrees of flexibility and other anatomical differences. These sometimes small differences are multiplied by the time you spend on a bicycle and repetition involved in the very process of cycling. Simple tasks like pedalling and handlebar position become even more critical for longer rides or intense effort. These are a few reasons why we can all benefit from a personal fit system by a trained BG F.I.T. technician.

Every cyclist looks for the optimal position on their bicycle and until now this has been determined by a number of set formula, average of averages and instinctive feeling. All very nice but not answering anymore the demands of a highly technical modern bicycle; for the job to be done right a bicycle should fit as if made-to-measure. In order to achieve this we offer Andy Pruitt’s bike fitting service which is a dynamic ‘on your bike’ service that can also includes a full physical assesment as well as a bike fit.
We offer two levels of this service – an abreviated option at £60 plus any componentry
– the full BG F.I.T. £120 plus any componentry
